Thank you! My photos, your photos!

Thank you! My photos, your photos!

If you follow my blog you already know that I’m not a professional photographer. I’m an enthusiast doing this on the side while still learning the craft of photography and cinematography.

What you don’t know, however, is that I always had a love for capturing moments, bringing a compact camera with me in every family and friends outing. Yes, I was “that guy”. The one who’d get in your face and capture your most awkward, least flattering picture and would refuse to delete it.

Did you fall flat on your ass? I’m keeping that picture. Not sorry.

I kept every picture I took, no matter how horrible it is. Not to edit them. I simply couldn’t be bothered and didn’t know how. I kept them because each picture told an individual story.

It was much later in life that I started seeing photography from a different perspective. I now want to capture pictures that provoke the imagination and always leave you with a question. I want my frames to convey different moods, vibes and feelings, taking my audience down a journey. The same journey I took when snapping it. That’s when I started looking for different angles, perspectives and editing my photos. I started enjoying photography in its entirety.

You asked, I blushed…

As I said earlier, I’m an enthusiast who does this on the side. However, some of you have expressed your support for my work and have asked me a few times whether you can buy prints. This made me blush and feel so grateful! Knowing that for some people my work is worth an investment, was beyond my imagination.

But I’m no professional, and I don’t have the means to set up an online store to process orders, prints and distribute physical copies. Instead, I set up an account with Pond5 where I uploaded copies of my work for you to purchase in digital format. You can then print and frame them at your own discretion without being worried whether your print gets lost in the post or ends up being damaged in the process.

Thank you for your support! I’m so honoured you showed the slightest interest. Watch this space as I’ll be uploading more photos for you to purchase. And who knows, one day I might even end up printing them myself, or even signing them :).

Till next time…

Check out my other work.
