Our 2018 travel in review
In 2018, Katerina and I decided to embark on as many trips as financially possible in an effort to fill up our batteries, expand our horizons and explore new cultures and destinations. Given we're not Australians, but Greeks living abroad, visiting 10 different cities/places in a year including Amsterdam, Athens, the Cotswolds, Florence, Kefalonia, Paris, Porto, Spetses, Tinos and Vienna, was deemed a good effort.
Some of these places we visited before. But it’s a brand new experience every singe time, especially if you look at mixing things up a bit. Armed with nothing but a small hand luggage, a camera and a will to create unique memories, we boarded all sorts of different planes for short weekend getaways from heaven.
We created the below video as an aide-memoire of our 2018 travel adventures, and a guide for 2019. We only regret the fact that we didn't film at Porto or Vienna, but we have plenty of great photos to remember our time there.
Here's to more traveling in 2019! We are looking forward to all the new experiences and memories that await.
